Hi,

This new version is a full-installer not a update, right?

I must uninstall the previus version (0.3.1)???

Confused about RV10/Realmedia

Postby Guest » Sat Oct 15, 2005 7:10 am

Working great for AVIs but am having probless with:
- Realmedia/RV10, I read realmedia files COULD be converted, but
- I, too, get the error message at the end of HCEnc, click OK & things seem to be OK. What info can I provide to help pin this one down?
- I tried an OGM file and get a memory access error that I have to End Task with.

Is there a forum I'm not seeing for non-AVI support?

I love the new menu feature!

Thanks & keep up the great work!

the new feautures could be a bit unstable but generally are working i will try to do my best .
You can also post your dvd menus so we can see our users what can they do with this utility !

Now i m doing the DV support for the 0.3.6 version . Then i will revision the hole project . At least on mine 3 pcs here all seems to work well ...

when you say :
- Realmedia/RV10, I read realmedia files COULD be converted, but
- I, too, get the error message at the end of HCEnc, click OK & things seem to be OK. What info can I provide to help pin this one down?

this has NOTHING to do with avi2dvd ... is an stupid bug of HCEnc i cannot do something . But it is not that bad !!! just hit ok and then the job is done !

Confused about RV10/Realmedia

Postby Guest » Sat Oct 15, 2005 4:37 pm

Thanks for the fast reply!

I remember reading that the err message MIGHT have been HCEnc - thanks for clearing it up for me. I'll just make sure to not use HCEnc when I need unattend stuff done. :-)

I do some programming to so I understand about the stability of features across multiple systems. You've done a wonderful job already, and I constantly see great new features coming along.

I just started playing with the menu stuff yesterday so it's probably a bit premature for me to post anything, but when I get something worth sharing, I'll do just that!

Thanks again

However, I can opened and coverted the avi with version 0.3.4, it is fine but I got one more wired problem with version 0.3.4 is the sound and the subtitle are come to gather but the picture is very very a bit slower than soud and sub.

Here are the codecs that I've installed:
  1. DivX Play 6.02
  2. XviD-1.1.0-Beta2
  3. RealPlayer Alternative 1.44
  4. AC3ACM_1.1
  5. AC3filter 0.70b
  6. VobSub 2.23
  7. OggDS0995

Here is the avi file:

Hopefully, you can solve these problems for me and other. Thank you.

Anywhere, this program (AVI2DVD) is very great and easy to use. Thank you for created it.
