Unless... Well, you know all about software deployment...

Your software is absolutely the best video conversion tool i've ever used!
very very thank you for the great job! It would be really something if it could use dvdauthor too... the only video tools anyone could need!

2 AVI's - audio out of sync, no subtitles for second half

Postby Ron » Tue Jun 07, 2005 8:19 am

I've tried to make a DVD out of 2 AVI's and two accompanying subtitle -files with AVI2DVD v0.3.0. All the files were named in the correct format for correct joining. The result however wasn't good. The audio was out of sync in the second part and the subtitles for the second part didn't show up. I've tried many options for about 2 days without succes. After uninstalling v0.3.0 and re-installing v0.2.7 the whole process went smoothly and the resulting DVD files were good.

What could be wrong?

I'm having the same problems with the subtitles (desync of the second .srt on the dvd). I was using 0.29v. Where can I find v0.27?
BTW: great program!!

HCenc finishes encoding my AVI files, but ever time it ends with an error. I have rebooted many times but the error always happens. Most likely a problem with HCenc, not AVI2DVD, but thought I'd report it anyway.

perhaps you could describe the exact error you are seeing a little better?
If you close the error msg box, does the program continue to work?

Is it along the lines of:
"The instruction at 0x09548bfc referenced memory at 0x08bd36d0
The meomry could not be read. Click OK to terminate"?

I seem to be getting this whenever I try using HCEnc w/ AVI2DVD.
You can close the error box & it will continue to finish the project, but it IS very frustrating when you wanted it to work un-attended, only to come back expecting it to be done & it is sitting there hung up.
Any planned future fix for this?

btw, I have 1GB of RAM plus a 2 GB paging file, so memory capacity should not be an issue here.
