A remark about windows 7 compatibility, after selecting the audiostream win7 changes the colorscheme to basic because of an incompatibility in the colorscheme used by AVI2DVD, i have downloaded version 0.6.1

I have Avi2Dvd 0.6.1 on Windows 7 and it allways disables the ClearType-Option in my Windows->Settings->DisplaySettings.
So I have to reactivate this after every run of Avi2Dvd.

Just a short note to say that I'm having the same problem....ac3 5.1 is being converted to 2 channel ac3. The odd thing is that it doesn't happen with every conversion. When it does happen, the demuxed file is labeled as 6 channel ac3 but checking media information shows it to be a 2 channel ac3.

I'm running the latest version AVI2DVD on a i7 system with Windows 7 home premium 64.

I will be happy to supply logs, etc.

hi!
I'm having some problems with Avi2dvd.
I use Win7.
I downloaded the program from the official site, installation ok.
Now I need to change a .avi to dvd: I followed everything in the guide; I'm using HCenc; when the program starts, I can see a black window called "C:\Program Files (x86) Avi2dvd\Programs\Besplit\Besplit.exe"; I can see lots of operations: at the end a new alarm window appears: Avi2dvd: File access denied.
Have you got suggestions? please help me, I can't go on with this important dvd-making!

thanks!!

Hi,

That's easy to get around, just right click to open the AVI2DVD and choose to "Run As Administrator".
