I'm trying to merge two languages idx/sub into one, but the program gives me "The Number of Total Vobsubs is bigger that 32!" when I hit mux button. What does that mean? Is there a work around?

what do you mean two languages in one ? You have half film and half film ? if yes use the vobsub joiner included at vobsub gabest pack
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia ... bSub.shtml

VobsubMuxer muxes LANGUAGES .
You have the same film at english and the same film at spanish you mux (not join) the two streams in ONE file so with your dvd can select your language like dvd films

Hello,
I have a similar problem.
I muxed a multi-language idx/sub into an mkv file earlier. Now I want to have the original idx/sub. But if I extract it using mkvextract, I get one idx/sub per language. So I tried VobsubMuxer to combine them into one idx/sub, but it gave me the error as sovereignty68 posted.
I noticed that in the extracted idx/sub, all the subs have a same ID of 32. (I know this using mediainfo, here is what mediainfo shows:
Code: Select all
General
Complete name                    : E:\blah_Track1.sub
Format                           : MPEG-PS
File size                        : 2.03 MiB
Duration                         : 53mn 16s
Overall bit rate                 : 5 335 bps

Text
ID                               : 32 (0x20)
Format                           : RLE
Format/Info                      : Run-length encoding
Duration                         : 53mn 16s

I am guessing maybe this is why VobsubMuxer gives the error. (just guessing).

btw, I tried VobSubStrip to create idx/sub for each language, and combine them back into one. VobsubMuxer works fine on these files, and those files have different ID's

Thanks for taking time to read my post, and sorry 'bout my bad English.

As i mentioned VobsubMuxer muxes txt2vobsub idx/sub.
Try doing this :
1) Load one vobsub to Subresync (it is included to the Gabest vobsub http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video ... vobsub.cfm )
2) Now save it as vobsub again
3) Do it with all the languages....

Try joining with vobsubmuxer ...
