Folder2iso does not work.

Folder2Iso can create ISO files ready for burn with two clicks ;)

Burning slipstreamed xp bootable disk
By: Ben (benshade) - 2007-02-27 02:28
Hi,
I want to burn a bootable xp installing disk which I have slipstreamed with SP2.
If using nero or equiv I would have to put in "load segment of sectors" and "no of loaded sectors" and I am not sure of the equivelent in Infra recorder.

The Details should be I think:
Add a boot image with no emulation
Emulation type : None
Advanced Options: Not Sure? Maybe boot load segment 0x7c0?

Also what should the boot catalog be?

Nero settings at http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstreame ... d_nero.htm
How do I do this in Infra?

Any help appreciated.

Hello!

It should be the same settings: no emulation, boot load segment = 0x07C0, boot load size = 0x4. The "Omit version number from ISO9660 file names" option under the ISO tab should also be enabled.

This should do the trick I believe.

That's all I can find in the topics. I will try to get the admin to answer the question about making an iso bootable.

Hi trustfm,
I signed up for SourceForge.net and have emailed them a question about bootable CDs.

I also found four sites that talk about the issue:

http://blog.kowalczyk.info/kb/what-make ... table.html

http://www.pcsupportadvisor.com/bootabl ... _page1.htm

http://technopedia.info/tech/2006/03/03 ... table.html

http://nightowl.radified.com/bootcd/bootcdintro.html

Very interesting stuff, indeed.

Hi trustfm,
I asked Sourceforge for info on Bootable CDs and I got a stern rebuke:
